To and From the Airport

The airport, Palma de Mallorca son San Juan, is located 8 km east of the Palma city center. Check if your hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the airport, as is common with resorts. Public transport operates from 06:00 to 01:30 and gets you from the airport to the city center in around 30 minutes. Catch bus No.1 from outside door D of arrivals, outside the check-in counters or in front of multi-story parking. The bus runs every 15 minutes and a one way ticket costs 2 euros.

Taxis are located outside door D of arrivals, and have a travel time of around 15 minutes to the city center. It should cost around 20 euros to the center, but it will be more going to or from the port. If you are driving, the airport has both short and long stay parking services. To get to the airport take the motorway Palma Santayni that connects to Palma. The airport also offers a number of car rental services that can provide good mobility if you want to travel around the island.
