MajorcaMajorca has a variety of beaches from long, expansive stretches of white sand to small, secluded coves. In the north, the water is clearer and colder, and the beaches are rockier. The more popular and touristy beaches, such as Playa de Palma that spans 4600 meters, come equipped with many amenities such as hammocks, cafes, lifeguards, telephones, spas and showers.
The Magaluf area, popular with British tourists, is similarly set up with restaurants, bars and clubs. For more remote beaches, visit the eastern coast. Try Calas de Majorca in Manacor that has many smaller coves. If you’re feeling adventurous, go on foot through rocks or forest to find beaches unspoiled by the islands popularity.
The southern tip has beautiful, less developed beaches but it can be harder to find accommodation in the area. While there may be a few nudist beaches, nudism is legal on all beaches. Many people will have their favorite areas and beaches; it really depends on what you are looking for.
